I currently own Classic Yr 2 TOG and I have access to the updated version with a good number of books as well. Up to this point, I have only done TOG with my older 3 dc -- all R now. I was thinking of adding two of my younger dc in, but as I was reading the booklist for the upgrade, there were a large number of books that neither I nor the library had. When I got out my Classic, I found that the number of books I would need to buy for my younger dc was quite small.

My question is....
Would it be too much for me to use the upgrade for my older dc and the classic for my younger (lg/ug) children? Would it be too overwhelming?

Besides books, were the subject topics/ weeks changed drastically? Will I get confused if I try to do them both at once?

Hi Becca,
Sorry that your question got skipped over previously.

You could certainly use Classic resource books as they fit in, but yes, the weekly topics were rearranged somewhat. It would take some work on your part to work things out, but I'd say it's doable.

Possibly some other moms can chime in who have tried to do this and let you know how easy or difficult it was.

Blessings,

I will proclaim the name of the Lord.
Oh, praise the greatness of our God!"
