Can someone tell me why we have to pay $1.99 for corrected pages (plus shipping) at the Bookshelf as opposed to being able to download these for "free" from the Loom?

When you've invested a few hundred dollars into a curriculum that's a year old, it feels like being nickled and dimed to death. I know you have no control over what books go out of print and when, but you have total control over how you respond to it.

Concerned,

Hi Susan,
As of the date of your order, your Loom disc should have the updated Reading Assignment Charts...check there before paying anything. And, the online Year 2 Loom is still up, so just download there for free.

When the bulk of the Loom comes down, the Book Updates Chart will remain. At that point, you are given the option of penciling in the new assignments, or paying to download a new RAC. The updated worksheets and answers will still be free. The reason we have to charge anything is because of the number of Reading Assignment Charts there will be on the Updates Chart. As of right now, there are about 20 there, which is over half of the year-plan's RACs. We simply can't offer that much information free to the public.

Hope this helps in your understanding!

Blessings,

But isn't the Loom access limited to those who have paid for the curriculum, and therefore not exactly "free to the public?"

Or, do have a wrong understanding re: Loom access?

Hi Susan,
Once the Loom is put on the disc, and the online Loom is all that's left, it's free to the public.
