Are the books listed for Yr. 1 classic and Yr. 1 redesigned very different from each other?

However, the vast majority of the Classic books are alternates on the Reading Assignment Charts, so they are still there. Many of them have gone out of print and still others simply don't cover out topics adequately. Most of the time, that's why they are alternates.
