This is the first year since my first year of homeschooling that the city has asked for my curriculum to be turned in so that I am in compliance.

Does TOG have a Scope & Sequence or summary other than the list labeled "Year 1: Historical Topics". I just don't feel that it is enough.

Any suggestions from those who have used TOG before on what you turn in to the school board?

My first thought would be "does your city have the right to ask for your curriculum?" School systems have been known to step over the law and ask for extra documentation. Check with other homeschoolers in your STATE (since they are state laws) to see if this is truly part of the homeschool law.
If it is legal and required, then give them not only a list of topics but also books used

In our state, they may ask for the curriculum. You may use what ever curriculum you like; in other words, they are not "approving" your choice but they can require you turn in curriculum.

My plan was to make a list for all 3 children and indicate that they are all studying the same time period at grade level for each.

This just will not demonstrate the depth of the TOG curriculum and that was what I was hoping to capture.

Rhoda, I just saw that you live in VA. I homeschooled in VA 99-00. I would go with the basics; don't put yoursel to a lot of extra work. If they really need more, they'll contact you.
Social Studies - Tapesty of Grace Year 1 - Ancient History and Geography (leave it at that)... keep it simple. No need to spend hours typing up lists
