We usually start school in July. This year we're taking a missions trip to Costa Rica the end of September. We'll be gone for 10 days. I was thinking I would plan it so we finish Unit 1, take our trip, and then come back to Unit 2. Now I'm wondering if it's easier to break somewhere in a Unit. I have one LG and one UG. This will be our first year to use TOG. Any suggestions?

You could easily break after the first three weeks- its a mini unit of Egypt. Then jump back into week 4:Creation when you get home. What a wonderful opportunity! Enjoy!!

I think you could easily break at the end of Unit 1 also, actually each unit wraps itself up quite well
