I have a 9th dd who likes to read, however, the literature and the time involvement may be a challenge for her at the Rhetoric level. We are new to TOG and I want the experience to be good.

What is the best way to deal with this?

Thanks,
Susan

How about using the Dialectic level? I know that I have read that TOG suggests that 9th grade is still the Dialectic level.

Diane,

Thank you for replying. Where would I find the info. on 9th still being Dialectic? I thought D was for 7th and 8th and R for 9-12th grade. I am waiting for my order.

Hi Susan,
Do you have loom access yet? If you do, go to the literature section and read the article about customizing year 2 literature. The article suggests various works to cut if you need to and also suggest which works to make sure your student reads. Very helpful, especially for a beginning R student!
Blessings,
April

Thanks April,

No I don't have access to the Loom yet. How long does it take to get access once you make an order?

Hi Susan,

You should have received a confirmation email from Lampstand Press --

it should tell you that you have been permissioned for the Y2 Loom.

How long ago did you place your order??
