I am new to TOG and just wondering if most of the literature selections are historical fiction or is there a variety of selections. Thank you for any help.

This depends on the level. Rhetoric literature is mostly the actual literature written in the time period being studied, whatever that was (plays, poetry, whatever). Dialectic is a combination of historical fiction set in the time period being studied and adapted versions of the literature of the period.

I don't remember how to categorize LG year 2 - I'd have to remind myself, but offhand I'd say it's mostly historical fiction and picture books.

You can see a list of titles if you go to the Bookshelf (see top right of this page) and then search for the unit or level you're interested in.
