I'm trying to find my way around Y2 DE and cannot seem to find "Historical Study of Literary Theories: Literary Criticism". According to the "Teaching Rhetoric Literature" it is suppose to be an appendix to "Frameworks", but all I have is Appendix A and that is a series of charts. Nothing in there fits the description of the above article. It is listed as optional reading for Week 8.

Is it there and I'm just not seeing it? Thanks.

Hi Yvonne! That's rather odd. We've moved it around a couple of times, so my guess is that the direction to it in Teaching Rhetoric Literature is obsolete and didn't get corrected in the final read-through (sorry about that!). I would look for a link called "Literary Criticism" floating around independently, probably on the same page as Poetics and Frameworks.

But just so you know, the Literary Criticism stuff is super-super extra and only for students who are very interested in literature. Thus, if you can't find it, please don't worry about it!

Please let me know if this helps!

Christy:

I have looked through the four links on the literature helps tap on the loom (Teaching Rhetoric Lit, Rhetoric Lit Reading Assignments, Frameworks, and Poetics)and I simply cannot find anything that meets the description or name of Literary Criticism.

I do understand that it is extra, but would like to be able to find it and see if it has value for us. Thanks.

Yvonne, that is really very strange. I will talk to our production team on this end and try to figure out what happened!

Hi Yvonne! Just an update: I talked to the production team and figured out the problem (I hope!). You should have an email from me in your inbox now explaining how we will fix that. :-) Please let me know if it doesn't show up!
