Has anyone looked at replacing or actually replaced TCOO with History of US for Dialectic level. We already own it, and I like it, but the kids haven't read it yet. There are so many interesting things in it that TCOO doesn't cover.

On the other hand, History of US misses some things, too. There were 3 questions in the Dialectic student pages this week that weren't answered by History of US. I can't imagine doing both, though. That's a lot of reading.

We're starting Year 2, Unit 3, and I'm wondering if anyone who has looked at both books long term could weigh in with their opinions. My dialectic kids are 13, 15, and 16. The other kids are Grammar level.
