We just finished week 5 of Y2. My children's ages are 8, almost 7, almost 5 & under... so far, we have done the reading (I read to the younger kids & my oldest reads from UG & D selections), MapAids & lapbooks. Haven't done any of the worksheet or projects yet... are we doing enough?

Yes. Take courage. You are doing enough with the reading, maps, and lapbooks. There are many great posts on the forum explaining that TOG is buffet to choose from. Don't feel like you need to do it all.

Also, while your children are young you are the student who is learning the most. Again, there were several great posts on this recently, but I just can't find them right now.

I have children about the ages of yours and we have a similar work load for history, literature, and geography. I can see how much my children are learning because it spills over into their play.

Blessings,
Jill

Absolutely! You are doing fine. That is the beauty of Tapestry pick what fits you at this time, you could always add more later... or not. Smiler Better than burning you and the kiddos out especially at this age!
