Just making sure I understand correctly. Is there a difference in Year 1 vs. year 2 in the use of Core and In-depth resources? In Year 1, we used only Core selections most weeks, and filled in with in-depth at times. In Loom articles for year 2 it seems like in-depth selections are a necessary part of the curriculum. Is this true for all levels, or only Rhetoric?

Hi Bonnie,
Core *and* In-Depth are "necessary" in order to answer all of the Accountability and Thinking Questions for dialectic and rhetoric levels. Be sure and read each Unit Introduction for more information because the way Core and In-Depth are used can vary from unit to unit.

Grammar levels are more easily adapted since they don't have specific questions to answer and what is read is largely determined by the parent's goals.
