My ds is having to read this with me. There are many references to things studied in the past years of TOG at the dialectic level so I'm glad he's got that background. I dont' if it's the way it's written or if we're just not well versed in these type things, but it's hard!
Thanks for any comments.

Hi Stephanie,
Our student is in the UG level... BUT...
I got many of the R level books to read BEFORE he got there AND for MY education! I started E. Stanton Evans' book, 'The Theme is Freedom' and found I was wanting to read so much of it to my DH that we finally made it a 'couple read-aloud'! It is very hard. He uses lots of big words, and I am thankful my DH knows most of them! Each page we keep saying, I never learned that, again and again and again and again...javascript:void(0)
Red Face

Another thing, with the current 'President Elite Obama' is makes for VERY eerie reading. javascript:void(0)
Eeker We are not through it all yet, but are enjoying it very much.

Blessings,
~Evelyn Mae

I am loving this book. I received it several years ago because I forgot to send back the card for my Conservative Book Club membership. What a blessing that turned out to be! I used classic with my two oldest and then bought Redesign Y2 to use with the youngers. I was thrilled to see that a book I already owned was being used. I am about 3/4 of the way through reading it and will have my college age daughter read it over the summer. It is fantastic. I have recommended it to several friends. I love the way he brings in the primary sources. I am not sure if you would miss some of the impact by having it broken up over an entire school year, though. I am kinda disappointed I don't have any in R this year to enjoy it with.
