Hi

I have followed some of the discussions from last year regarding the resourse list. I just purchased Tapestry DE Year 1 and cannot find a general resource list as was in the classic version. I am assuming it is not in there. Is there anywhere I can find one. The RL was of great benefit for me. I have used TOG for 4 years now and always used that for my general planning at the beginning of the year and each unit. It will be quite difficult to go through every week and 3 levels to pick the resources I need. I hope there is a way to access the RL from the DE.

Thanks
Elyse R

Elyse,

I use the search feature at Bookshelf Central to print out the Primary Resource lists. Alternate Resource lists are found on the Loom.

Elyse,

We are hoping to return to providing Excel resource lists now that DE affords such an easy way for us to keep them current. However, this feature is a ways off. For now, the Bookshelf Central search is fast and easy. You can easily import it into an Excel spreadsheet for easy sorting and shopping. Each book's product page also has the information you're used to in the far right column of Classic RLs. There we tell you about the book itself and note shopping options, how long its used for, etc.

Hope this helps!

Marcia

Marcia,

You answered my question. I am glad that you are going to go back to the Excel book list. Your insight to the books are invaluable to me. I do miss them. Smiler

Marcia,

I am SO GLAD to hear you are returning to a resource list of books. Hooray! Smiler

From what you wrote, I am thinking this list will only be available for those who own DE of that year. Is that correct? I already own Year 1 & 2 in print, and Year 3 DE. Thank you for your hard work for us.

Blessings,

Candace

We are pondering various delivery options. We want to serve the maximum number of families. Please pray that the Lord will make our path clear and that all our families will be as blessed as can be. We wish we could meet every need for every person every time, but it doesn't seem to work out that way in this fallen world of ours. Still, He knows all our ways, and if we join together in prayer, I know His perfect will can be accomplished! THANKS in advance!

Blessings,
Marcia

I'm trying to create an Excel spreadsheet from the Bookshelf, but when I paste, it puts everything into just one cell. Is it possible for someone to give me a little direction here? I'm usually pretty good with Excel, but can't seem to figure this out. FYI - when I selected what to copy on the Bookshelf, it highlighted everything from the book cover through the detailed information.

TIA and blessings,
Pamela Freeman

I am looking on the bookshelf central page, and i clicked year one, all levels, all units, all subjects Smiler and then just clicked off the ones i already own - that leaves me with a lot of books still Smiler - and i'm wondering - are those *all* the books i would need? Or are there more when i actually buy the curriculum for next year? Last year i started out with TOG - classic, year 4 - i got a lot of books through the library, but if i had planned ahead a little better, there are a lot more i would have just bought outright if i'd figured out how much we'd use them... But i don't want to pay 1500$ on books if there are still more that i might want/need more. I've got seven children, and my oldest is gifted, so we really are using all levels, all subjects, all units...
