How much of the program is the whole crossing out Prepositional Phrases? Ok let me back up a little. Big Grin My oldest is using JAG which first has you identify Prepositional Phrases before finding the Subject and Predicate. I think that is the same thing Easy Grammar has you do, but it has you cross them out. I really don't want my kids to get into the habit of crossing them out.

Can I use Easy Grammar and just modify the crossing out portion to be more like JAG (which uses parenthesis to identify them)? Or the Daily Grams? Or is it just going to be a big headache?

Thanks!

Heather

Heather,

We've done all of Easy Grammar but the Plus level, and so far the only thing parentheses have been used for is to mark infinitive phrases. I don't think you would run into any problems by modifying the way the prepositional phrases are marked. Of course, you'll need to mark the infinitive phrases differently.
