We are really enjoying our lap books and the time it saves us having the CD. I was wondering though what kind of paper others used to print out the little booklets etc. I used colored card stock this time. of course its really cute but this can get kindof pricey. I want them to last so I dont want to use construction paper. Any suggestions? Thanks!!!!!!

We use colored printer paper. It's less difficult to fold than cardstock, comes in lots of colors, and is more durable (and a finer writing surface) than construction paper.

I asked this same question of Cyndi Kinney (the lady that designed the lapbook cd) and she recommended 24 lb. paper. I found it at Wal-Mart in many colors. It's a little heavier than standard copy paper but not as heavy as cardstock.
