I can not find Intro to Literary Studies on the Loom CD I have for my R student, does anyone know where I find it?

Can you tell me which year plan and printing you have? Then I should be able to help you better. :-)

Hey Christy-
I'm not sure where to find it either I am using Year Plan 1 -- which it what I think perhaps KSL is using too since it falls around this week for Year 1- week 27. It says its on the Loom and my Loom is newer than my Year plan since I lost the first one :}... First Printing 2006. My Loom disc says 2/18/08 and I have a MAC which makes the interface a little more difficult to find things.. sorry.

Look on your Loom disc under "Literature Helps" or "Dialectic/Rhetoric Helps."

I do not find anything that says Literature Helps or D/R Helps on my CD. My Loom CD is dated 11/5/07. It only has on it "Why Study Literature". I am using redesign year 1.

I too can only find the Why Study Lit file on my loom. I've opened all the extra tabs too. I don't see anything listed as Lit Helps or D/R helps.

Hi ladies! I guess I should have checked this thread more throughout the day---it grew while I wasn't looking! Anyway, I'm happy to be able to report that I think I have the answer to the question. "Intro to Literary Studies" actually IS "Why Study Literature?" They are the same document.

I think that what must have happened is that the full title of the document (which is "Introduction to Literary Studies: Why Study Literature?" got shortened two different ways in your class plan references and on the Loom. Apparently in your Teacher's Notes you are being referred to one half of the title, and on the Loom we listed the document under the other half of the title.

If I'm correct in my theory about what went wrong, then the error is definitely on our side, and I'm really sorry for the confusion. :-/ On the other hand, I'm so grateful to God that at least the document is there on your Loom, even if it's under the wrong name. What a catastrophe it would be if it wasn't there at all!

Anyway, I hope this clears up the question satisfactorily for you (please let me know if it doesn't!), and again I am SO sorry about the confusing references. Thank you for pointing it out so that we can correct it in future Loom discs!
