I am new to TOG and want to do the redesigned Unit 2; I have planned to order the bundle. But then I need to to also choose books for each unit.... without a copy of the lesson plans in my hand, how will I know which books to order and which to borrow from the library? In the past, I have always been a "buy everything" kind of person, but we just downsized our living space from 3400 sq. ft. to 1400 sq. ft., so I need to keep purchases to a minimum!

I highly recommend that you make two (or more) separate orders. I think that the savings you get by combining the curriculum order with the book order just isn't worth it. Buy the curriculum, and get it in your hand and live with it as long as you can before you commit.

Definately order the year plan first. You may be surprised to find that most, if not all books may be found at your library and thru the library loan system. You can then look ahead and select 'must have' books from the reading list if you plan ahead. Look at my previous post about buying books. Email me if you have any other questions that I may answer! Thanks for the feedback. I am so used to getting everything all at once, so this is definitely new to me. I'm sure I will have lots of questions as I get ready for this!
