Okay. I didn't know whether to choose this spot on the forum or go to the Loom... hopefully there will be enough hits for my question to be noticed by somebody in the know.

I have been noticing something on the Bookshelf "search" bar that I think is a glitch in the system. I'm not really not computer-literate enough to make this statement. Here's what I'm talking about -

I was doing some reading this morning and wondered if "Uncle Tom's Cabin" would be a resource my 2 R ds would need in our Y3 (Redesign)studies. I went to the Bookshelf and typed in both Harriet Beecher Stowe and the title of the book. Both brought up "0" items. I've done this with several titles, and have had the same results, only to find out that they are indeed on the primary resource list. I found out that Uncle Tom's Cabin is used in unit 3 of this year, but only sections of it will be assigned. Is that why it doesn't come up in my search?

Another question, somewhat related (but maybe better placed under the Loom) is that I can no longer find anywhere the ISBN nos. on books. Last year I typed out the whole resource list, both primary and alternate, that gave the isbn nos. so that when I needed to order them from our local bookstore, I could use that instead of the title. It worked much quicker that way, plus I liked the way the Resource list gave titles in sequence of use throughout the year. Is this no longer available? I bought far more books from Lampstand this year, so didn't really need to use isbn's as much. Still wondering if the list is on the website buried somewhere...

Thanks, Laurie

Hi Laurie,

I'm pretty sure unit 3 books on not for sale yet, per the production calendar:

"We prayerfully expect to make books for Year 3 Unit 3 available for purchase by early November."

Hi Laurie,
Karen is correct that the Year 3 Unit 3 books are not on the Bookshelf yet, which is why your searches are coming up with "0."

We do not have the resource list in the same format that you have previously used. You can create your own list on the Bookshelf using the search features (for primary titles) and alternate titles on on the Loom under "book lists."

Blessings,
