I wanted to make sure that Dana saw this. I've e-mailed her 4 different times over the last few days and haven't heard anything.

When you first get to the Bookshelf and then you log in. It blinks and then the screen refreshes, and so you think you have logged in. But if you look, you have not. I tried 3 times yesterday and then a couple of times today. I don't get an error or you misdid it or anything. However, when I added books to my cart and THEN signed it, it finally recognized me. Later yesterday when I went back it automatically knew who I was. However, this morning I had the same glitch.

I just wanted to warn everyone because apparantly I THOUGHT I had signed in a few days ago, but hadn't and then filled my cart with my books only to have them all lost. AGAIN. I lost my whole cart of books I was ready to buy in the switch over. So you might look into this. Later this weekend I will empty my cart of the misc. books I put in to test it and reload it with all my real books for the 3rd time.

Anywone else reading this, look and make sure you are logged in even if you think you are. Look on the green buttons. I know that I logged in and then filled my cart, but the cart I printed shows I really wasn't. So make sure!!!

I don't know why it won't let you log in until you put in books.

Hi Christine,
I'm sorry that you tried to reach me and were unable to. Unfortunately I didn't receive any of your emails. I don't know why, but certainly am sorry that happened!

I've tested the system several times to make sure it works properly and haven't discovered any problems.

Here's how it works: If you are on the website and see "log in" in the green tabs across the top, that means you need to log in. If you put things in your basket without logging in, they won't stay there after you finish your session. They will however stay there if you walk away for a few minutes or something.

If you see "log out" on the green tab, that means "don't forget to log out when you are done." Therefore, you are logged in. Whether you log in in the middle of putting things in your cart, or at the end, everything will stay there as long as you log in before you walk away from your computer.

Be sure you sign up for our newsletter on the left side of the screen. You will receive not only information about using our website and sale products, but you'll also get teaching tips.

If anyone else has had problems, please let me know. Hopefully it will help though, to understand the log in/log out tabs.

Blessings,

Dana C. in TN

Hi Dana,

The e-mail I used was through the contact us tab on your website.

It STILL will not let me sign in until AFTER I put in books. The page changes and the sign in screen goes away, but it still says log in at the top. However, I know I have books in my cart, but it doesn't show them. So I add some books, then sign in and tada, it recognizes me.

Would other people check into this and see if they have that problem?? Like I say, when I first get there I sign in and the log in screen goes away and it looks like it knows me, but it still says log in. I just don't want others to do what I did and think they signed in and then build a basket of books to buy later only to find out they were never signed in. ALWAYS check to make sure it says log out at the top.

Dear Christine,

I've had problems, too. I had to try three times before I was finally able to log in just now. I have books in my cart, and they are still there.
