Just an idea but we are just starting week 13, Victorian Time period and I thought it would be fun to incorporate Christmas. There is alot of info on Victorian Christmas' online and I found a neat book Victorian Christmas by Bobbie Kalman and Barbara Bedell. My girls are very excited about making Victorian Ornaments for the tree (a cone out of paper with treats in them) I just thought this was an easy, fun way to teach them about life in this time period. Victorian Christmas books and pictures are full of how people dressed and lived then. (okay I'm a little excited too) Hope someone else enjoys the idea.
