I was wondering if someone could help me. I am trying to get my booklist together for unit 4. For the life of me, I can't find how I used to do the search option that brings up all the books for one unit, but organizes them by level and further which books are single/multi unit . I need all four levels and know it's on here somewhere, but I can't remember how to do it!

Also, I was wondering if we should be using the Bookshelf to put together a booklist, or the new Bookshelf Central? I know Dana is still working on the new site, so the old site seems to have more search options for now. However, the lists don't seem to match up between the two sites, so I figured I would ask. I though maybe now that Dana has her site up, the old one will not be updated??

I am not official, but I did study both storefronts and have ordered for U4 already. Below are my thoughts on this.

Although most books are listed both places, the only complete list is the new Bookshelf Central. I was able to search for books by year plan and level just fine. If you copy and paste it into a spreadsheet, you can customize your list and search it any way you want. I do this to look-up titles in our library system for our co-op group. Then, we each order the books we need from my worksheet.

I have been having trouble getting to Bookshelf Central pretty much this whole week.
I've tried clicking on the "icon" on the TOG store website as well as just typing in "bookshelfcentral.com". Both end up giving me a screen that says something like Verio, register for domain name...."

I called TOG customer service and was told that maybe my internet server cannot find the location of bookshelfcentral.com which is why I'm not able to get to the website. (I'm don't know anything about www, so I might have gotten some of the facts mixed up...) Is this something that someone can please help with? It might be something that is really simple, it's just that I don't know how to go about it.

Dana changed the server on which bookshelfcentral.com resided, which changed the address to which bookshelfcentral.com pointed. Some Internet Service Providers update the addresses faster (or more often) than others. Eventually, your ISP will update its domain name server (DNS).

I have been typing the whole address including the www. part. Just in case, I clicked on the weblink from Marcia. Still got the same "VERIO... register your domain" screen.

If Ray is right, then I guess I'll just have to wait for my ISP to locate it. At least I will be able to get to the website eventually...

In the mean time, Ray, does it work for me to contact my ISP and ask them to find bookshelfcentral?

This is one of those "patience is a virtue" times.

I had to actually hit refresh at the "verio screen" for it to work for me- which I've never had to do before. So you could try that too.
