I know this isn't a website issue - but the TOG email program is going crazy, re-sending out emails for previous orders. I've received three in the last hour or two, two of them about orders placed 18 months ago.

I can't contact anyone by phone because it's Friday evening. I'm just posting here, hoping to get someone's attention....

I've been going through the forums, specifically "Frequently Asked Questions" (but will in the future be doing others), deleting old posts that aren't helpful to anyone any longer, and moving helpful posts to the correct forum. The goal is that people will more easily find answers to their questions. You've probably noticed that we have more specific titles on many of the forums. (Scroll down to see some new ones!)

The downside is that while I'm moving posts, they show up in your inbox if you are subscribed in such a way to receive all of the posts through email. If you'd like, you can go to your profile and unsubscribe for a while.

To do this, click on "go," then "personal zone," then "notification."

Sorry about the inconvenience, but I hope it will be helpful in the long run.

No, that's not what I mean. I'm getting emails listing books I bought 6 months ago, or asking me to confirm my address so that I can receive my Year 2 bonus bundle (which I ordered 18 months ago). This isn't a forum issue.

This is happening to me too. ..E-mails with books I have already received. (hope they did not resend or recharge..)

To answer a small part of the problem:

I placed an order for my daughter's Y3U1 books and there was an adjustment, which may have been the cause of a duplicate email. However, I didn't receive a duplicate shipment, nor was I charged twice.

I'm sorry that I can't help with the rest of the problem, but I have been in contact with the Administrative Team.

Customer Service answered a similar question that I had. If your previous order had an e-product it could be that is what is being shipped. They are also looking for address confirmation. For example, if you ordered Year 2 Redesigned then you are probably going to receive the Loom CD or other CDs shortly. I was told that I wouldn't be receiving any duplicates, only e-products that were now available on CD. At least this is how I understood the e-mails. I hope I don't confuse anyone.

Well, that might explain one of the three emails I received. But I received one saying that I was about to receive my pre-publication Words of Delight order (did I place a pre-pub order for that? In any case I've had the book for at least a year), and another listing my spring 2008 order, which is complete except for a few things that won't be shipped out until next year....
