Hi-
I am new to ToG as well as internet 'groups,' so forgive me if this is not an appropriate question... Has anyone made a schedule for Usborne History of the World (or Kingfisher) to coordinate with ToG? My kids (7,9,11,13) LOVE those books and I would like to keep using them. We have started in Y2U4 and will go on into Year 3, Redesigned.

This is a somewhat unhelpful answer, I don't know of a specific schedule directly from TOG to either encyclopedia. However, Story of the World IS scheduled for TOG UG as a supplement. If you order the Story of the World Activity Book, there are chapter by chapter correlations to BOTH encyclopedias you asked about. You also might try looking just for a copy of the list from Story of the World on yahoo or Well Trained Mind's site, then you wouldn't have to order the activity book.

Your question is perfectly reasonable. Quite a few moms use those resources. The quickest way to correlate the Tapestry weeks to them is to simply check the student threads and the people rows on the yellow-edged overview page. Then just use the index in your resource to find that week's topics and key players.
