I cant get my CD to work at all. My Map Aids CD works fine, so I know its not my computer. Any suggestions? My computer doesnt recognize it in the CD drive and when I put it in the DVD drive, it says that it is blank (just trying to get it to work somehow).

I'm watching this thread with interest. I have had CD problems every year with TOG. We have three computers and often end up having to switch from one to the other for the CD to be read. My Yr3 Loom does exactly what Rona says her Map Aids does.

I'm open to suggestions too.

Hi Rona!

I'm so sorry for your troubles! It sounds like it was probably just a bad CD, in which case we can resend it. Just give us a call and we'll verify that and take care of you.

Kimberly, are you saying that the CDs work on some computers but not others? In that case, they aren't bad CDs, it may be more of a tech problem. If you Year 3 Loom won't work in ANY computers, please give us a call and we'll verify and take care of you! Smiler

Well Juli, the answer is yes that they work on some computers and not others...but not the same computers. For instance, one CD from one year may work on Laptop A while not on Laptop B. Another CD from another year may do the opposite. That is why I wonder if it is a CD problem or something else.

I'll try to narrow down my "problem" CDs and then maybe give you guys a call.

Thank you! Smiler

I, too am having difficulty with my WA CD. It just arrived last week and tries to launch an autorun, unsuccessfully. Do I need a new disc, I wonder? Should there be something other than opening the CD and hunting through the icons for the correct section? I'm guessing, "Yes!"

Thanks for help you can offer!

Hi, Beth!

Some computers like the autorun and some don't. If the autorun doesn't work on your computer, all of the Tapestry DE CD's have a file in the root directory (the highest level) called either "index" or "interface." Opening that file will open everything up for you!

Of course, if the "index" or "interface" file doesn't work, call Customer Service at 1-800-705-7487 to ask about a replacement.

My WA CD loads fine, but any links within it (PDF files) come up blank! I do have Adobe Reader, and links in The Loom CD work fine. I haven't tried my Map Aids CD yet. Any suggestions?
