Hi all!
I am brand new to TOG and I am wondering about the Word Bank cards and what words I put in there? And what about the vocab words, are those part of the word bank? How does it all work?

Sorry if the answer is really simple or easily found in the teacher's notes. I've looked, but I haven't read everything yet.
Thanks!

Have a great day!
Brenda

Hi Brenda,
As your child is working on a part of speech, he will choose his own words for the Word Bank cards. The instructions are in Writing Aids, have you purchased that?

Hi,

One more question! At what age would you start using the Writing Aids and doing a Word Bank?

Thank you!

It starts at level 1 which may correspond with 1st grade, but I am using it with my fluently reading kindergartener.

HTH,
Karen
