In the Unit 2 Introductory Notes, p. 3, under the section "Tips for Unit 2 Rhetoric Literature" it says "There are three literary analysis papers sugggested in the course of Year 3 (one on poetry, one on story, and one on drama), but at least one is required for the Literature credit. Since the paper suggested in Weeks 10-13 is also provided for in the writing track, you may choose this opportunity to complete the literary analysis paper requirement."

However, my son is working on the Level 9 Writing Assignments. (He is doing Rhetoric work for all areas: History, Literature, Philosophy, Government, etc.) and the Literary Analysis paper is suggested only for Levels 10 and 11 in the Red Writing Assignments over this period of Weeks 10 to 12. (Level 9 is working on a Research Paper over 6 weeks.)

From the Writing Levels Overview for Year 3, it seems that the Level 9 students will have an opportunity to do a Literary Analysis paper in Weeks 23, 24, 25. Could you tell me if that will be a literary analysis paper on story or on drama? (I assume that since Weeks 10-12 are on Poetry, that the remaining literary analysis paper will not be poetry.)

We enjoyed a lot of the Romantic Era poetry and I was wondering if it might make sense for us to do the Literary Analysis Paper on Poetry now, and bump the 6-week Research Paper until later or replace it completely. 'Just trying to plan ahead and wondering about the options.
