My 3rd grader (UG, using level 3) is having trouble prewriting the assignment for RY3, week 12. I am having trouble helping her, as her history reading does not provide information on "Describing the lives of families living in TX," nor does the website have support on the topic. These resources have great information on the history of TX independence and statehood, but lack what she needs to describe family life. What am I missing; do I need to research outside of the TOG resources?

I realize that this is an old post, but it's a topic I've wondered about, also. I think that possibly the LG reading has the information we need (since Level 3 could be either LG or UG)? I've just chosen the other topic each time, since there are always at least 2 topics.
