If anyone happens to be near Washington, DC before March 22, the "Pompeii and
the Roman Villa" exhibition is not to be missed! It is in the East Building of
the National Gallery of Art and has spectacular artifacts from daily life, many
frescos, and amazing art pieces from Pompeii. They even have a gladiator helmet
on display. My personal favorite piece was a mosaic of Plato and his students.
