As well, search google for Egyptian influences on architecture plus your state. I found buildings in our hometown that had influences that I could take my children to visit and get a more real sense of the time period!

Thanks so much for the heads up on the special exhibit at Indy Museum. I emailed them about the free family day and she didn't have any info. about that, but she did let me know that if you have a teacher id you can get into the exhibit "To Live Forever" for free and children ages 7-17 are just $6. It looks great! I hope to get there.
