We finished Unit one a few weeks ago, but our (grown up) Bible study wanted to participate in the Seder meal, so we had it tonight. Everyone had a great time, and I think the kids were pleased to show off what they have been learning. (I compiled a shortened ceremony/reading if anyone is interested...also some good recipes).

This week we are doing India, and the kids are really enjoying being immersed in a culture. They are listening to the Just So stories on tape, and on Tuesday we listened to Indian music, made chapates(?) and curry for dinner, and looked at Indian art. We even saw someone wearing a real sari that day! The best part of the day was when my youngest (4.5) said, "mommy, we need to pray for the people in India who don't know Jesus". He's getting the whole point!

Thank you Marcia for giving us this opportunity! We are all (including our friends!)learning so much and having a great time.
