I am going to have my boys build a Tabernacle model out of graham crackers, but am at a loss as to what to use for the lampstand, laver, Ark of the Covenant, etc. Any ideas? TIA

Well I think with some of the furniture, he could just stack it up with a thin layer of something between each cracker (glue or peanut butter?).

Depending on his skill, he might be able to slowly shave some crackers into other less rectangular shapes.

On the other hand, I'm struggling with making the various fabric layers of the tent out of graham crackers.

Thanks for the ideas, ladies.

For the curtains we are going to use fruit roll-ups. I think we will use little marshmallows dyed yellow to construct the alter and pretzels for the lampstand. We are going to head to our local candy store today to see what we can come up with.

Cari,

Well that makes more sense than gramham crackers. I just couldn't figure that out, thanks for explaining.

I think this will be a fun project.
