As state conventions start meeting all over the country, we’ve been getting lots of calls about whether or not we’re going to be represented by booths in your backyard. The bad news is that, no, we’re not going to any conferences this year. But, the good news is that each of you can gain cash by becoming local booth hostesses in your own homeschooling communities!

Share & $ave is back and better than ever! We have redesigned and restarted our popular "Share & $ave" program. Last year people saved money on their Tapestry curriculum by redeeming gift certificates for books and products at our store. This year we are offering cash for either Internet advertising that results in a sale of DE products or for closing the sale, or for both!

Each time a customer buys a DE year-plan, Lampstand is offering a $2.00 cash base commission to the person who introduced the buyer to our website. We offer you a host of ready-made, custom, Internet tools (buttons, banners, email texts, news items, promotional sales, etc.) that you can send to your blog, newsletter, face book, or email contacts. If the customer whom you reached via Internet advertising doesn’t put a Share & $ave code in at checkout, advertisers get an additional $4.00 per DE year-plan cash credit for the sale! While these numbers are for year-plans, we give proportionate credits on sales of individual units as well.

If you don’t want to use Internet advertising, but love sharing about Tapestry with your friends and also could use cash for your family, simply tell your friend who is buying a DE year-plan or unit to type in your Share & $ave code at checkout, and you will get a $15 cash commission for a year-plan (or $3 for each individual unit) as a “closer.”

Those of you who get in early can take advantage of both Internet advertising and Share & $ave codes. If you are both the advertiser and the closer on a single sale of a DE year-plan, we will give you a $17 cash commission. We are just launching this exciting new program today, so we haven't got all the cool new toys and seller aids completed that we have envisioned just yet, but this software has loads of potential and you can come in, look around, and start planning which tools you’ll be using to easily share about Tapestry! The software will track your advertising and sales responses so that you can find the most effective spots to post news of Tapestry, and all summer long, we’ll be offering new sales promotions that will give you new reasons to promote Tapestry of Grace again and again.

For instance: new Excellence in Education awards are out, we just started our first-time Tapestry users’ special last week (Writing Aids at half price with a Year 1 DE purchase!), and in a few days we’re going to be announcing our Conference Special for May and where you can use cool new FREE Resource Lists online! Webinars are on the way soon, too! Normally, I can only speak at a handful of conferences around the country. This year, I’m planning to speak twice a week through the rest of May and June, delivering my most popular conference speeches via Internet and phone, so that I can reach more people than ever with helpful tips for homeschooling, even though I can’t go to conventions! These webinars will be free, but space will be limited for each one, so you’ll want to tell your friends about them right away.
