Can anybody tell me what the 4 week "Four Alls" project is? I can't figure out what that is referring to...it's a recommendation for Upper Grammar.

Thanks!

This activity is found in Knights and Castles; 50 Hands-On Activities to Experience the Middle Ages on page 26. It is done over a few weeks and it is one the activities that my daughter has enjoyed the most this year.It was so neat when it was done !

Even without the Knights & Castles book you can put together a similar activity:

Essentially you are reinforcing the four roles of medieval society, "the peasants who worked for all, priests who prayed for all, knights who fought for all and kings who ruled for all."

The activity is making 4 dioramas- one for each of these segments of society. You could also reinforce the "Four Alls" by having your students draw 4 pictures or act out each of these roles.
